The Goethe-Universität, Frankfurt am Main, in partnership with the University of Oxford, is hosting a two-day international conference on archaeometallurgy, on Tuesday the 1st and Wednesday 2nd of October 2019. Speakers from across Europe and Asia will discuss their latest results in the study of ancient metallurgy. A wide range of case studies will be presented including work from Bronze Age Western Europe, the Caucuses, Russia, China and Mongolia.
The conference is free to attend, and all are welcome. Drinks and light refreshments will be provided.
